Full details are on our HRD certification page, including what the certificate covers and how to read it.
Yes, every diamond comes with an HRD certificate, so you know exactly what you're buying, whether it's a solitaire ring or a fully custom design.
Jaipur has been the world's centre for emerald cutting since the 1700s, when Mughal-era craftsmen first settled there to work the stone. That heritage is why Zambian emerald, prized for its depth of colour and rarity, remains one of Spectrum's signature gemstones today. Explore the full emerald jewellery collection and our Zambian emerald guide for more on what makes this origin distinct.
Solid gold is gold all the way through, plated jewellery is a thin layer over base metal that wears away over time, often within a year or two of regular wear. Every Spectrum piece, from bangles to tennis bracelets, is fine gold or solid gold, never plated.
Every piece is genuine, solid gold construction, available across our fine gold and solid gold collections depending on the style, in rose, white and yellow gold. Nothing is plated or base metal, so the colour and finish hold up the same way years from now as they do the day you receive it.
Spectrum is a direct manufacturer, with every piece designed and produced in-house in Jaipur rather than sourced through third-party resellers. That keeps the supply chain from rough stone to finished setting under our own oversight, the same standard behind our customisation process.
Natural gemstones and handcrafted gold pieces can vary slightly from studio photography due to lighting and the natural variation inherent to each stone. That variation is part of what makes a natural gemstone piece one of a kind rather than a uniform, mass-produced one.
TCW stands for total carat weight, the combined weight of every diamond or gemstone in a piece, not just the centre stone. A ring listed at 1.62 TCW might combine a centre stone with smaller accent stones adding up to that total, which is why two rings with the same TCW can still look quite different depending on how the weight is distributed.
Nearly all emeralds, including natural Zambian emerald, are treated with oil or resin to reduce the visibility of naturally occurring inclusions, standard practice across the gemstone industry and disclosed as part of responsible grading. This doesn't affect the stone's natural origin or value, it's simply part of how emerald has been finished and cared for historically.
Yes, Spectrum Jewels also carries diamond watches and brooches, alongside bangles, cuffs and choker necklaces across the core categories.

No, custom and made-to-order pieces are final sale, standard practice across fine jewellery, since a bespoke piece is built specifically around one customer's design, stone selection and sizing, and can't be resold to someone else.
Contact our team with photos of the damage as soon as possible after delivery, ideally within a few days, so we can arrange a resolution quickly rather than after the packaging and evidence have been discarded.

Warranty
Yes, every piece comes with a lifetime warranty, described on our own site as a promise rather than just a policy, jewellery built to be passed down should be backed the same way.
The warranty covers manufacturing and workmanship defects, faults in the setting or construction that show up under normal wear, standard scope for a lifetime jewellery warranty. It doesn't cover accidental damage, like a dropped ring or a knocked stone, which is treated separately as a repair rather than a warranty claim.
Avoid wearing fine jewellery in a pool, hot tub or shower, and keep it away from perfume, lotion and household cleaning chemicals, all of which can dull gold's finish or affect a gemstone's surface over time. Removing rings and bracelets before hands-on activity, like gardening or gym work, also goes a long way toward protecting a setting.
Stop wearing the piece as soon as you notice movement in the setting, and contact our team right away. Continuing to wear a piece with a loose stone is the most common way stones are lost entirely, so it's worth addressing immediately rather than waiting.
An annual check is standard practice in fine jewellery, to catch a loosening stone or worn prong before it becomes a bigger problem, especially for everyday pieces like tennis bracelets and rings that see regular wear.
